Getting Started

This page provides a quick overview of Transporter that will help you get started. If you have any trouble, check the Common Issues page or the Support Forum.

Before you start to download Transporter, we recommend that you have read the Minimum System Requirements page. You can download Transporter by clicking here, or by visiting the download page. You can save the installer anywhere on your computer. When the download is complete, run the installer.

Installing Transporter

When you double-click the installer, you will be greeted with a welcome screen. Click “Next”

Read the License Agreement terms. If you agree to the terms of the agreement, click “I agree” to go to the next step of setup. If you do not accept, you cannot continue with the setup wizard and Transporter will not be installed.

Select the installation destination. It is recommended that most users click next, as the default destination is suitable for the majority of users.

Select a start menu folder where shortcuts will be made.

Select additional tasks to be performed. Users may choose to install shortcut links on the desktop and in the quick launch bar.

Transporter is now ready to be installed. Please review the selections you have made to ensure that any changes are made before installation continues.

Setup is now complete. Users may choose if the Transporter application will automatically launch after the setup is finished.

There are 2 methods for integrating Transporter into Firefox. The first is by installing the Firefox plugin and the second is by manually applying the settings.

Method 1 (Recommended)

Right-click the transporter tray icon and click Control Panel.

Select the Tweaks and Hacks Catagory and click 'Install Firefox Plugin'.

In the Software Installation window that will popup select Install Now, once the button is enabled.

Click Restart firefox. You can now toggle the transporter service by using the shield icon in the bottom right of the Sirefox statusbar.

Method 2 (Advanced Users)

Goto Tools then select Options

Then select Advanced -> Network tab and click the Settings Button

Once in Connection Settings select Manual Proxy Configuration and enter in 'localhost' for HTTP Proxy, and '2007' for Port
